Terms of Service

These Terms of Service set out the rules for using the Poknort app, available at grimterms.com and as a mobile app for Android. Using Poknort means accepting these terms.

1. Service description

Poknort is a family app for gamifying household chores. It turns everyday tasks (cleaning, homework, helping around the house) into an RPG-style game - children earn experience, items and in-game currency by completing tasks assigned by a parent.

Available as:

a web app at app.grimterms.com,
a mobile app for Android (APK available from the website).

2. Parent and child accounts

Poknort has two types of accounts:

Guild Master account (parent/guardian) - created by an adult using e-mail and password. The parent manages the guild, adds children, creates tasks and approves completions.
Hero accounts (children) - created by the parent. A child logs in with a guild code and first name, without providing an e-mail address.

The user agrees to provide truthful information when creating a parent account. The parent is responsible for how their children use the app.

3. Acceptable use

The user agrees to:

use the app for its intended purpose,
not attempt to break security or gain unauthorized access to other users' data,
not use automated tools to abuse the app (bots, scripts),
not upload unlawful, obscene or harmful content.

The operator reserves the right to suspend or delete accounts that violate these rules.

4. Intellectual property

All rights to Poknort, including source code, graphics, interface design, game systems and the name "Poknort", are owned by the operator. Copying, modifying, redistributing or reverse-engineering the app's code and assets without written consent is prohibited.

Data entered by the user (e.g. task names, children's names) remains the user's property. The operator processes it solely to provide the service.

5. Full game purchase and payments

Poknort is freemium. Basic features (tasks, family management, in-game currency) are free with no time limit. Advanced RPG features (expeditions, trophies, all dungeons, equipment, pets, themes) require a one-time full game unlock.

How to unlock:

One-time Google Play purchase - a single payment, permanent access, no auto-renewal.
Redemption code - promotional codes issued by the operator; entering one in the app activates full access.

The current price is visible in the app before purchase. Price, currency and payment method are determined by Google Play based on the user's account settings.

No auto-renewal: Full game is a one-time purchase. The user is not charged on a recurring basis and has nothing to cancel.

Refunds: Refunds follow Google Play policy. Refund requests can be submitted directly in Google Play or by contacting us at contact@grimterms.com.

Family access: A full game purchase made by the parent (Guild Master) unlocks premium features for the entire guild - all child accounts and co-parent administrators.

6. Limitation of liability

Poknort is provided "as is". The operator takes care to ensure uninterrupted and error-free operation but does not guarantee 100% uptime or absence of bugs.

The operator is not responsible for:

service interruptions caused by infrastructure failures or maintenance,
data loss from force majeure events (hardware failure, cyber-attack),
how users choose to use the app.

7. Changes to the terms

The operator reserves the right to change these terms. Users will be informed of material changes via in-app notification or e-mail. Continued use of the app after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by Polish law. Disputes arising from the use of the app will be resolved by the courts competent for the operator's seat. Matters not covered by these terms are subject to the Polish Civil Code and the Act on Providing Services by Electronic Means.
